Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

We're a small greeting card shop, and we care about your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

Short version: we use your info to get your cards to you — we believe in complete transparency.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Here's what we collect when you shop with us or visit our site:

Information You Provide Directly

  • Your info: name, email, mailing address, and phone number when you place an order or become a member.

  • Order details: what you ordered and where to send it.

  • Messages: anything you send us through our contact form or email.

  • Your Voice: your written tribute, the name of the person being remembered, and any detail you share. This content may be visible to other visitors. We will remove any post upon request.

  • Basic site data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically to help us improve the site.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to fulfill orders, send shipping updates, answer your questions, and (if you opt in) send our newsletter. We won’t use it for anything else without asking you first.

3. WHAT WE DO NOT DO WITH YOUR DATA

We will never sell, rent, or trade your information. We don’t use it for automated profiling, and we don’t share it with anyone except the shipping carriers and service providers needed to fulfill your order. Your info is yours.

4. PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments are handled securely by trusted processors like Stripe, PayPal, or Square — we never see or store your card number. Our site uses SSL encryption to keep your data safe in transit.

5. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

We use cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site (via tools like Google Analytics — anonymized, not personal). A cookie notice will appear on your first visit, and you can manage cookies anytime in your browser settings.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

We share your name and address with shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) to deliver your order. We may use Mailchimp for newsletters under a data protection agreement. Links to outside sites are not covered by this policy — we’re not responsible for their privacy practices.

7. DATA RETENTION

Order records are kept for 7 years as required by Georgia tax law. Marketing email data is kept until you unsubscribe, and contact form messages are kept for up to 2 years. If a legal requirement prevents us from deleting something right away, we’ll let you know.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time, and you can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email. Just reach out — we’re happy to help and will respond promptly. Note: Georgia does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law, but we follow general U.S. best practices.

9. DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY

We use SSL encryption, encrypted payment processing, and secure hosting to protect your data. No system is 100% foolproof, but we do our best — and if a breach ever occurred, we’d notify you right away.

10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our site is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe your child has submitted info to us, please contact us and we’ll delete it right away.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted here with a new effective date. For major changes, we’ll do our best to let you know directly. Continued use of our site means you accept the updates.
